Funny, made things clear and related things to real life. The SAT / ACT course was very helpful, I don’t think I would’ve improved my reading skills without it. This course also gave me strategies to break down a reading. I got a feel for the SAT and had practice in areas I struggled in.

Meet a Shanghai SAT Tutor: Gretchen R.
Gretchen R. was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, where her father was a prominent journalist. Her strong high school grades and SAT scores led to her acceptance to UC Berkeley. After completing her undergraduate degree in engineering, she entered a graduate program at Carnegie Mellon University, finishing her master's degree in the top 10% of her class.
Gretchen always hoped to avoid the standard 9 to 5 work schedule, and she has earned the credentials to demand flexible hours. She splits her time between various technology projects and SAT tutoring. She has been teaching SAT prep since 2009, and has helped get her students accepted to top programs in STEM fields at schools such as MIT, CalTech, Cornell, and Stanford. In her spare time, she enjoys playing sports, particularly tennis, volleyball, and billiards.
